Job Description

Our client is now seeking a high-caliber individual to join their Air Freight Department as a Airfreight Manager Customer Service Import & Export. This role is crucial in leading exceptional service delivery and guiding their customer service team toward success.

 

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead a customer service team to ensure smooth daily operations in air freight export and import.

  • Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships by ensuring customers receive outstanding service.

  • Customer Onboarding: Support Sales and Implementation teams in onboarding new customers.

  • Team Development: Build and nurture a high-performing, dedicated customer service team.

  • Tender Management: Oversee the tender process, ensuring strategic and competitive contract proposals.

  • Procedure Development: Create and implement customer service procedures, policies, and standards.

  • Escalation Support: Serve as a key escalation point, providing guidance and support to your team.

  • Operational Reporting: Regularly update management on operational developments and improvements.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Logistics Management, or related fields.

  • 8-10 years of customer service experience in the freight forwarding industry, including 5 years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus).

  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.

  • Mature, capable of working under pressure and independently.

  • Immediately available is preferred
