Cargo Claims Coordinator
Job Description
Our client is now seeking a high-caliber individual to join their Administration Team as Cargo Claims Coordinator. This role plays a key part in handling cargo claims.
Responsibilities

Cargo Claims Management: Handle the cargo claim process by gathering information, reviewing reports, and related bills.

Claim Processing Support: Assist in processing claim information, receipts, and documentation to facilitate claim resolution.

Communication: Communicate and follow up with internal and external parties throughout the claims process.

Reporting: Prepare required claims statistics and reports.

Updates for Claimants: Provide updates on the cargo claim process to claimants upon request.

Administrative Support: Offer office administrative support, including managing office supplies, maintaining office equipment and facilities, handling insurance/service contract renewals, and overseeing regular housekeeping and office renovations.

Vendor Liaison: Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure quality service delivery.

Contract Management: Support contract management, license renewals, and maintain an organized filing system.

Daily Operations: Collaborate with internal and external parties on daily operations.

General Inquiries: Provide telephone support for general inquiries.

Ad Hoc Assignments: Assist with ad hoc assignments as needed.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Logistics Management, or related fields.

Experience in handling cargo claims in freight forwarding / insurance industry is preferred

Knowledge of cargo coverages and claims is an advantage

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills

Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Familiar with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Candidates with more experience will be considered as Claim Specialist
